Arriving by train and bus
The CHEMPARK Krefeld-Uerdingen is conveniently accessible by public transport.
By rail:
Regional trains run from Duisburg Hauptbahnhof (Duisburg Central Station) to Krefeld/Mönchengladbach and from Mönchengladbach/Krefeld to Duisburg. Get off at Hohenbudberg-Bayerwerk.
From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Düsseldorf Central Station) or from Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station): Take the Intercity, Interregio or Regional Express to Duisburg Hauptbahnhof, and change to regional service (see above).
By bus:
Route 927 from Duisburg-Rheinhausen station towards Krefeld Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Get off at CHEMPARK Gate 4.
Route 927 from Krefeld Hauptbahnhof towards Duisburg-Rheinhausen. Get off at CHEMPARK Gate 4.
Route 831 from Moers Königlicher Hof towards Meerbusch Haus Meer. Get off at Gagfah-Siedlung (CHEMPARK Gate 15).
Arriving by plane
The nearest airports from Uerdingen are Düsseldorf (about 30 minutes by public transport) and Cologne/Bonn (about 90 minutes).
Düsseldorf Airport:
Take the shuttle bus to the new railway station at the airport (Flughafen-Bahnhof). Do not go to the underground S-Bahn station. From the airport railway station take the S-Bahn train S1 or a Regional Express to Duisburg Hauptbahnhof (Duisburg Central Station). Change to RB 33 or RE 3 regional service towards Krefeld/Mönchengladbach. Get off at Hohenbudberg-Bayerwerk.
Cologne/Bonn Airport:
S-Bahn S13 to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station)
The service runs every 20 minutes on weekdays, and every half hour at weekends.
Then: Take Intercity, Interregio or Regional Express to Duisburg Hauptbahnhof (Duisburg Central Station), and change to RB 33 or RE 3 regional service towards Krefeld/Mönchengladbach. Get off at Hohenbudberg-Bayerwerk.
