Handling personal data

In the following, we would like to inform you about our handling of personal data when using this website. Unless otherwise described in the following sections, the legal basis for a handling of your personal data follows from the necessity of a handling for the provision of the functionalities requested by you on this website (Art. 6(1)(b) Data Protection Regulation).

Calling the website

When you access our website, your browser transmits certain data to our web server for technical reasons in order to provide you with the information you have requested. To enable you to visit the website, the following data is collected, stored for a short time and used:

  • Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

Furthermore, in order to protect our legitimate interests, we store this data for a limited period of time in order to initiate a derivation to personal data in the event of unauthorized access or attempted access to local servers (Art. 6(1)(f) Data Protection Regulation).

Registration and log-in

If you wish to use certain services on our website, you must register with us. You create a customer account where you set your personal login details to log in to the website. As part of the registration and login process, we collect the following information about you:

  • Contact information (including email address and phone number)
  • Gender
  • Username and password
  • Log of your log-in including timestamp

We process this personal data to enable you to access our website and the services contained therein. Should you deactivate your user account, this personal data will be deleted.

For this purpose, we use cookies, among others, which are described in detail in the cookie table above. The information collected about your use of this website (e.g. the referring URL, pages visited, the web browser you are using, your language preference, the operating system you are using or your screen resolution) is transmitted to a server in Germany designated by CURRENTA, where it is stored and analyzed. We use this information to better target public, press and marketing topics to you and your interests. This is an important basis for measuring the effectiveness of a campaign or understanding how people respond. You can revoke your granted consent to web analytics at any time by managing your consents in the table above, where an opt-out cookie will be set. Both options prevent web analysis only as long as you use a browser on which you have installed the plugin or as long as you do not delete the opt-out cookie. Walls.IO

Through a single programming interface, Walls.io provides access to the social media platforms and played out posts used by the CURRENTA Group. For regular users of its services, Walls.io may store access tokens from various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. These access tokens enable the service provider to collect, store and process social media data provided through the official APIs for your user or company accounts on the respective platform. These access tokens are essential for the functioning of the services. Therefore, the use of access tokens is preceded by consent.

Use of contact forms

You can contact us directly via contact forms provided on the website. In doing so, you have the opportunity to provide us with the following information in particular:

  • First and last name, gender and title
  • Contact details (e.g. e-mail address, phone number)
  • Message

We collect, process and use the information you provide via contact forms exclusively for processing your specific request.

External services and content on our website

We include external services or content on our website. When you use such a service or when third-party content is displayed to you, communication data is exchanged between you and the respective provider for technical reasons.

In addition, the provider of the respective services or content may process your data for further, own purposes.
