Applying for identity documents
To work at CHEMPARK, you need a staff ID card. For mobile equipment (e.g. laptops or tablets) outside the plant boundaries, a special pass is also required.
Here’s how to ensure the process runs smoothly:
1
Application
Submit the application forms fully completed. Make sure to allow for the minimum processing times.
2
Date
First, book a fixed appointment for collection at the ID card office.
3
Collection
Collect your ID card from the ID card office at the agreed time.
4
Use
Please use your pass for all future entries and exits. Remember to take your special pass with you when taking materials out of the works.
Thank you for your help.

Taking company property home
If you wish to take company property out of CHEMPARK, you will always need authorisation to do so. If, for example, you regularly need to take a specific laptop or tablet with you to work outside CHEMPARK, you should apply for a special pass. If this is only a one-off occurrence, or if you need to take other equipment outside the site that is not registered via the special pass, your site manager must provide you with a fully completed and signed access pass.
Please note:
- If you are authorised to sign, you must not sign an access pass for yourself. Ask a representative authorised to sign.
- Only official CHEMPARK access permits with a serial number are valid. A sample access permit is shown below. We do not accept any other documents – including those with a logo and stamp.
- You must present your access pass of your own accord before leaving the site.
- Access passes presented only during a check will be recorded as a breach of the CHEMPARK regulations. If no access pass is presented, any attempt to leave the site may be reported as a property offence.

FAQ
How do you obtain a permit to enter the area?
- If you are employed by a company based at CHEMPARK and hold a CHEMPARK staff pass, you can find the application form for a vehicle access pass here.
Do employees of companies based at CHEMPARK also have to complete the tool registration form and/or use a security seal?
- Employees of companies based at CHEMPARK who regularly take items such as laptops or similar devices out of CHEMPARK and bring them back in again should apply for a special pass. The relevant device will then be registered on the pass.
- Without a special pass, a site access permit is always required.
- Employees who do not have a special pass or a site access permit, but who nevertheless wish to take a laptop or tablet, for example, out of CHEMPARK, must prove that the device belongs to them. If this is not possible, the device will be held by plant security until ownership has been clarified.
Do employees of companies based at CHEMPARK also need a site access pass?
- If company property is to be taken out of CHEMPARK, authorisation is always required. There are two options:
- The company property is registered via a special pass (e.g. a laptop that is regularly taken to the home office).
- The company property is authorised for removal by means of a fully completed and signed pass.
Do I need to book an appointment for everything at the ID office?
- Please bear in mind that if you visit the ID office without an appointment, you may have to wait longer, as matters requiring an appointment take priority. It may also be the case that your matter cannot be dealt with on the same day.
- If you need to sort something out in person at the ID office, we therefore always recommend booking an appointment. This way, you can be sure that we will deal with your matter within the agreed time slot and that you will not have to wait unnecessarily.
- If you wish to collect an ID card, please do not book an appointment until you have received a message confirming that your ID card is ready for collection.
- It is always better to submit applications by email rather than handing them in in person at the ID office. This way, you’ll avoid unnecessary waiting times and won’t be disappointed if we are unable to process your application on the same day.
